This painting is 5”x7”, ink and gouache on Arches 140lb Cold Press paper. I was bikepacking in the Superstitions Range southwest of Phoenix, AZ, snapping photos as I went. It was cool that spring, unseasonably rainy to our surprise, but there was lovely cloud cover with blue sky poking through. This lovely formation was shot on our way out of Superior, AZ after restocking food and water at a gas station.
