This painting is 5”x7”, ink and gouache on Strathmore 500. This is from the beginning of the trout season last lear. And a productive day on the Medomak River in MidCoast Maine in term of fish and shooting photos. The tree were still fleshing out, and the water column was moving briskly. There was low, lean cloud cover diffusing the light through the humidity of the day.
