This illustration was created to accompany an article in American Medical News in 2012. It was a really fun piece to paint, and one of a few I did for AMN where I got to paint the entire image. The piece is gouache on 300lb Arches hot press paper. The painted are is 13.5” x 9.5”, and the paper is 16” x 13”.
